“I grew up in Hant’s Harbour, rambling on the beach, playing in the tidal pools on the point or picking berries on the hills. When it was time to come home, I often returned to the smell of homemade bread or jams and pickles being prepared for the winter.” – Tassie

“I grew up walking on the beach catching sticklebacks in the tide pools, skipping rocks in the ocean and berry picking on the hills of Hant’s Harbour with family and friends. Coming back for visits now still provides me with the comfort of home and many happy memories.” – Danielle

Remembering Norma

The Point Bed and Breakfast was meticulously run and cared for by our mother Norma Louise Janes Soper, who passed away in 2020 at the age of 76 years. We hope to honour her passion for the community and her commitment to hospitality by keeping the bed and breakfast open this summer.
